What Can I Store in My Private Vault?

You can store a wide range of items. The most common items for safekeeping include:

• Gold, silver, and other precious metals (not exceeding 25kg in weight)
• Bullions and coins

To ensure the secure handling of your valuable items and documents, we require all registrations to be done in person at our office at Chai Chee Lane. You can fill out the Move In form online first, then choose from the following three methods to complete the registration:

2. Walk-in during our Monday to Friday opening hours, or

What are your Office Opening Hours for Registration?

To get started with a safe deposit box, simply visit us during the following times:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 12pm & 1pm to 6pm
• Alternate Saturdays: By appointment only
• Closed: Sundays & Public Holidays

Our private safe deposit box access is not affected by our office opening hours, andis accessible 24/7.

What Documents Do I Need to Apply for a Private Vault?

You’ll need these during registration:

• Passport
• Local or foreign mobile phone number*
• Email

*As your mobile phone number is used for OTP verification purposes, please ensure that your device can receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS in Singapore.

How Long Will It Take to Process My Application & Store Items

Registering for your safe deposit box is quick and easy, typically taking less than 30 minutes. You will receive a personal access card, PIN code, and key immediately, allowing you to move your precious belongings in on the same day.

Can I Appoint Someone Else to Access My Private Vault?

Yes, you may appoint someone (such as a spouse or partner) as a user and give them access to your safe box. However, they cannot change your contract agreement with STARVAULT or manage the account. Nominated users are not allowed to add another user, move out, or change account details.

How Much Does a Private Vault Cost in Singapore?

Our fees depends on the box size:

• Small storage box: from SGD$30/month
• Medium storage box: from SGD$55/month

Admin fees & initial deposit

• One-time admin fee: SGD$100* (when you open your box)
• Refundable deposit: SGD$200* (returned when you close your box)

Additional Information

• Minimum rental period: The minimum storage period is one (1) month, with options for short-term and long-term storage needs. There are discounts on yearly payment plans.
• Lost card & key fee: A replacement fee will apply for lost access cards and keys.

How Does the Private Vault Work?

After registration, you can access your safe deposit box at your convenience and in total privacy. The multi-layer access control is fully automated and leverages state-of-the-art surveillance technology.

Step 1: Access the facilities via biometric facial recognition.

Step 2: Use your access card to enter the secure storage room.

Step 3: To retrieve your safe deposit box, you need your access card, PIN code, and fingerprint.

Step 4: Use the key to open your box.

As a STARVAULT customer, you have 24/7 access to your valuables. Your safe deposit box is located within the BOXPARK building* at 506 Chai Chee Lane, #01-02 (view on Google Maps).

If you are taking public transport, you can choose between the two nearest MRT stations on the East-West line.

Bedok MRT station:

• Buses: 24, 25, 26, 28, 67, 222, 222B
• Taxi or private hire car: ~7 minutes drive

Kembangan MRT station:

• Buses: 26, 42
• Taxi or private hire car: ~4 minutes drive
